The nipple, though seemingly simple, is a vital component in countless piping systems. Here at Best Enterprise, we offer high-quality nipples in a range of sizes, including the versatile (½-inch diameter with 20 threads per inch).
Size: Ensure the nipple diameter (½-inch) matches your pipes.
Thread Count: The 20 TPI (threads per inch) is a standard size, but verify compatibility with your existing pipes or fittings.
Material: Select a material (e.g., brass, galvanized steel) suitable for your application’s pressure, temperature, and fluid type.
Note: Customized Size of this product can be developed as per your requirement.
Types of Nipple
Plain
A plain is a vast area of mostly flat, treeless land with minimal elevation change. They occur in valleys, along coasts, or at the base of mountains. Plains are vital for agriculture and infrastructure due to their level of terrain.
Hex
In the context of pipe fittings, “hex” likely refers to the hexagonal shape commonly found on the heads of nuts used for threaded connections. These provide a good grip for tightening with wrenches, ensuring secure and leak-proof joints.
Barrel
This is essentially a nipple (short pipe with male threads on both ends) with a thicker, “barreled” section in the center compared to a standard nipple. This thicker section provides additional strength and can be used for hanging the pipe or for better gripping with tools.
Welding
A welding nipple is a type of pipe fitting specifically designed to be welded onto a pipe. It has a cylindrical body with a male pipe thread on one end and a plain (unthreaded) end for welding
